Forum Find: '80 Triumph TR7, Grand National Powered

The Buick Grand National turbo V6 was the LS1 of motor swaps in the 80's. We've seen them in everything from Datsun pick ups to Corvettes. This is the first time we've seen one in a Triumph and this has got to be one ridiculously fast car. Not only does this little TR7 have the motor and trans a of a GN, but the builder also managed to shove the rear-end under the little Triumph as well. The seller states that there's something not quite right with the swap as it  falls on it's face under heavy acceleration. This sounds like a boost problem to us, but there is a myriad of issues that could be causing this symptom, (fuel, spark, ECU, plugged cats, etc). This would be an amazing car when sorted out. Find it here, in Hillpoint, WI, for $4,000. We also love the Halloween appropriate Spider edition, complete with cartoon spiders on the quarters!

Craigslist Find: '72 Barracuda Project

Here's a good deal on a Barracuda project that looks to have a very straight body and relatively rust free. This car isn't anything special from the factory so you could do something custom if you wanted. The car comes with the original drive-train if you want to restore. Find it here, in Sacramento, CA, for $6,500.

Craigslist Find: '99 Lexus GS300, LS1 Swap

We love big, comfy luxury cars that have a good amount of power. Sadly, most performance luxury cars past 1990 are automatics. This Lexus GS300 has a complete LS1 swap with T56 as well as some healthy modifications that put the HP to just over 400 at the wheels. The car is suspended via coil-overs, but there is no mention of brake upgrades. The Supra wheels help to keep it sleeper and overall, this car looks well built and well cared for. Find it here, in Winder, GA, for $15,000 OBO.

Craigslist Find: '81 Euro Market M535i

The M535i was the M5 before the M5. It was as high performance as possible at the time, sporting a 215hp/230tq 3.4ltr straight 6 with uprated brakes, suspension, and diff. These cars were only made between 1979 and 1981 and were only available in the European markets. This car is in pretty good condition but does need some love. The current owner has done quite a few bits of good maintenance that should keep it on the road for many years to come. Some of the issues are rusty doors, clutch/throwout bearing, and an aged interior. On the subject of the interior, we love it. There's a lot of detail that you just don't get in any of the more modern Bimmers. The color combo is nice on this car and we think it could clean up into something very special. Find it here, in East Atlanta, GA, for $3,000.

Craigslist Find: '75 Chevy C10, Twin Turbo Sleeper

Let's face it, aside from having your turbo's sticking out of your hood, no one is going to expect an old C10 to beat them to the next stop light. This truck puts down a mighty impressive 551hp and 511tq from a twin turbo fuel injected 355ci. More than enough power to belittle a new Mustang GT at the 1/4 mile. We suspect that this will not be a corner carver as there is no mention of suspension mods and well, it's a C10. This truck promises to be loads of fun in a straight line, but we would love to see a more vintage set of wheels to make it look even more sleeper. Find it here, in the Portland area, WA, for $12,500.

Craigslist Find: '73 240Z, L28et Swap

We've seen plenty of L28ET swapped 240Z's, but this one is not only a very clean example of the S30 chassis, it's also a great deal. Especially when you consider that it comes with a complete extra turbo motor should anything go wrong with the one currently in the car. We love the color combo and very traditional body as well as the super clean interior. The seller does mention that there is some smoking coming from the valve cover and there are some very small rust spots. This has got to be the best Datsun deal on the East Coast right now. Find it here, in Queens, NY, for $4,700.

Forum Find: E46 Touring, Full M3 Conversion

What started life as a pedestrian automatic 323i has now become a full fledged dream wagon. This E46 Touring has benefited greatly from the death of a low-mileage 2004 M3. There's little that wasn't swapped over to the wagon, including manual trans, gauges reflecting actual motor mileage, differential, seats, steering wheel, etc. This is one hell of a daily driver set up that could also be great on the track. We found the car through it's original for sale thread on bimmerforums, here, and the actual ad is on autotrader, here, for $18,750, in Chicago, IL.

Craigslist Find: 1300 Original Miles, '63 Split Window Vette Project

To just say that this car needs "work" is a bit of an understatement. It was wrecked back in 1965 and has sat ever since, with staggeringly low miles. To know if this car is really worth the asking price, you need to find out what original equipment came on the car and if the engine block is savable. The manual trans gives us hope that this car is rarer than your average split window, but we also need to know if the title is salvaged. This car could end up being worth a small fortune, but it may take an equally sized fortune to get it into that condition. Find it here, in Houston, TX, for $25,000.

Craigslist Find: Viper Powered '51 Ford Woody Project

One of the easiest ways to get a lot of attention at a car show is shock value. We can't think of anything more shocking than a Ford Woody Wagon that's running a Dodge Viper power-train. Aside from having this very surprising power-plant, this car has had several nice body and suspension mods that have this car well on it's way to getting some serious hot rod cred. This build already has a pile of high dollar parts that is sure to cost more than the asking price. Find it here in Farmingdale, NY, for $12,000. This car is at a nice point in the build where the next owner can either go crazy with body and interior, or wrap it up and have this car on the road in a couple of months!

Craigslist Find: Supercharged, '90 Ford Mustang

A supercharged V8 and some serious road racing suspension, what's not to like? Well... The Fox Body Mustang may not be the best looking car (especially when the paint is in less than show room condition), but has always been a performance bargain. If you were a track rat growing up, like some of us, then you probably had a friend or two with 5.0 Mustangs that would walk all over every other car in the group, with very minimal mods. So, after many years of therapy, we can now say "the 5.0 Mustang is a good car" and not spit up blood. We think this car is a great performance bargain as it's supercharged, has Griggs full road race suspension, and roll-cage. The paint needs work and we'd would change/paint those wheels immediately. Find it here, in the Los Angeles area, for $6,000.

1990 Ford Mustang, Supercharged, Full Griggs, Roll-Cage

Craigslist Find: Sexy '86 Esprit

Every generation of the Esprit has been a sexy car, but this is (by a very wide margin) the best looking Esprit we've seen. This car not only has low miles, but is relatively stock as well. The only modifications stated by the seller are lowering springs, HRE wheels,  new clutch, and several transmission mods. We love this car and hope that the next owner can care for it as much as the seller has. Find it here, in Knoxville, TN, for $14,999.

Craigslist Find: Bagged '54 Chevy Step Van

This '54 step van would make for a very cool parts hauler. We love the mild custom details and the Impala/Biscayne tail lights look great. You don't find these too often and they also make for great advertising if you have a shop that has anything to do vintage items. Find it here, in South Bay, CA, for $10,000 OBO.

Craigslist Find: '69 Lotus Europa

The Europa is definitely one of the more odd profiles to come out of the 60's, but that doesn't mean it isn't beautiful and a ton of fun to drive. This particular car has had a nice upgrade to a Gordini Cross Flow motor and is currently being fueled by twin Weber DCOE's. There is some fine tuning that needs to be done as there is a fuel level issues with the Webers. This car looks great overall and should make for a great bargain for any enthusiast at $11,500 OBO. Find it here, in Canyon Lake, CA.

Craigslist Find: '70 Ford Mustang Fastback

Fastback Mustangs are some of the most sought after classic cars in the world and while the 1970 model isn't at the top of everyone's desirability chart, it's still a sexy beast. Especially when done like this one. The black on black on black scheme looks great and has a very nice "second read" effect when you notice the matte black Boss 302 vinyls. This car has the very desirable 4-speed manual trans and 302 drive-train combo as well as some other nice chassis and brake upgrades. We really like the wheels and think that this is a very nice classic muscle car look. The seller states that the paint was not done "right" by the body shop he took the car to and there is some "bubbling' in the paint. If minor corrosion and rust repair are things you can live with, then we suggest you go check this car out! Find it here, in San Antonio, TX, for $15,000.

Craigslist Find: '64 Datsun L320 Pickup, Perfect Patina

We've seen the ad headlines more times than we can count, "Perfect Patina!" Then you check the pics and it's just a rusty pile once known as a car. This Datsun L320 is "Perfect Patina", the original paint has been faded and worn through by the sun in a very dry climate, resulting in the red-orange primer showing through. It's not a rust bucket. There are some maintenance issues that need to be addressed before this truck can get back on the road like the gas tank and rear trans seal need to be serviced. This little pickup needs nothing more than a drop, some wheels, and a cleaned up engine bay to be a stand out at JCCS 2013. Find it here, in South Central Austin, TX, for the very reasonable price of $1,750.

1964 Datsun L320, Perfect Patina

Craigslist Find: Flared '91 Miata

The Miata is growing in popularity but is still one of the more under appreciated sporty cars of our time. It's 1.8 four cylinder isn't the quickest to 60, but it's light weight and rigid chassis makes it a great driver's car. The flares not only help to make the car look much more aggressive than stock, but also let you fit substantially wider tires under the fenders. This looks like a great daily driver that would be a blast on the weekends for the low price of $3,500 OBO. Find it here, in Maple Valley, WA.

Craigslist Find: E30 M3 Replica Track Car, BAR'ed Euro S50B32!

We'll cut to the chase, this car looks like an amazing deal. Not only is it a fairly nice E30 M3 replica, but it has the Euro S50B32 and it's been BAR'ed, meaning it's smog legal! This is like finding a unicorn that can run barrels, is a master at dressage, and is already qualified to run in the Kentucky Derby. Who cares if the horn is fiberglass, it's grafted to it's skull and you're the only one who knows! We're not saying we'd parade around like it's a real M3, but this car not only looks the part, but will perform just as well, if not better. One of the downsides is that the motor is not currently in the car at the moment. Find this great deal here, in Santa Clara, CA, for $12,000. The seller is willing to part the motor and car, but we'd like to see a BAR'ed euro S50B32 running on the streets of CA!

Craigslist Find: '72 510 Roller

This 510 is a little more budget friendly than the last one we posted.  We'd like to see some more pics that included the interior and engine bay, but this looks like a fairly good deal at $3,500 with headlights and exhaust, or $3,200 without. The car has disk brakes all around and is riding on coil-overs. You could easily have this Datsun back on the road for under $5,000 with a decent set of rims. The world is your oyster as far as motors choices, so do some work and save a good amount of cash! Find it here, in North Orange County, CA.

Craigslist Find: '86 Mazda Rx-7, LS1 Swap

This is the kind of swapped car we like to see. The seller has full documentation of mileage on motor and chassis and has put several thousands of miles on the car since the swap was completed. This Mazda looks well sorted and is putting down some healthy power figures. The car appears to be "done" mechanically and now just needs the aesthetics taken care of as it could use a paint job and some interior work. Seller states that the seat is currently in a fixed position for maximum headroom clearance to accommodate a helmet. That means you will probably have to spend a day or two adjusting the seat to fit comfortably. Find all the mod list and info here, with the car being located in Everett, WA, for $10,000.

Craigslist Find: '72 Datsun, VG30 Swap

This is one of the best looking 510's we've seen in a very long time. While it's hard to tell how straight the body is with the matte paint, the panels and lines match up nicely and look very straight for a 510. The motor swap doesn't look to be your run of the mill 300zx VG30, but one from a 90-95 Pathfinder. It could just be an intake manifold and distributor swap as there isn't very much info in the ad. The interior looks to have had some very expensive parts installed, but some panels are missing and we'd really like to know if the dash pad is crack free under that carpet cover. As mentioned before, the ad is really sparse on information, but this looks like it could be a very well done and complete car. Find it here, in Blue Diamond/Rainbow, NV, for $15,500 OBO. We sincerely suggest checking out this car in person and trying to negotiate the price based on your findings as it is one of the most expensive 510's we've ever seen.

Craigslist Find: '94 Mazda Rx-7

We normally like our Rx-7's to have the beating heart of a LSx motor, but this rotary powered beast has become the exception to the rule. The rotary looks well built and overall, this looks like quite the quality car. While it is street car, it does look to be built more for track use. The body kit is very fast and furious, but the car pulls off the look quite well and we rather like it. This car is putting down a reported 350-370rwhp and the seller claims that, with more boost, it can easily hit 500rwhp. What that will do to the reliability and longevity of motor is an unknown, we'd be happy with the low power setting. Stopping power comes from big 6 piston brakes up front and the suspension has been worked over with a set of coil-overs. Find it here, in El Paso, TX, for $15,000 OBO.

Craigslist Find: Audi S4 Avant, RS4 Body Upgrades

For the most part, Audi has been very fair about sharing it's performance wagon with the US, but we never have gotten Audi's best. The RS Avants. This seller took it upon himself to turn his regular S4 into a RS4 and the results are simply stunning. Adding bulging RS4 flares and Ferrari Grigio paint has turned this car into probably the best looking Audi we've seen. The seller used original RS4 panels with molding, meaning you're not going to have your fender flares cracking off the body in a couple of years. Seller has wisely opted to not extensively modify the motor, but only gave it a refresh. There are some other cool mods like a Gallardo Steering wheel with RS4 airbag/cover, Alcon 6 piston brakes up front, Wilwood 4 pistons on the rear, and coil-overs on all four corners. This car is  as close to a 50 state legal RS4 as we can get over here, all it needs is a catalytic converter re-installed. Find it here, in Snoqualmie Ridge, WA, for $28,000. The price is steep but, where are you going to find another one?

Audi S4, RS4 Rebody

Craigslist Find: '95 525I Touring, S50 Swap

BMW is, to this day, quite cruel with their performance wagon distribution to the US. So we have to improvise. This E34 wagon not only has a nicely modified S50 from a dearly departed E36 M3, but it also has it's 5 speed manual as well. This car looks great with the M5 bumper swap, drop, and a nice set of CSL replica wheels. We don't mind the green that much, but we would like to know what color the interior is. A few things are going wrong with the car, most concerning is as the seller describes "...speed wobble in the passenger rear wheel, but only when going 53-57 mph... I suspect that it's either a bad wheel bearing or needs to be balanced properly." The worse case scenario is the wheels bearing, which repairing yourself is cheap, but it's a pain. There is some confusion about the condition of the paint on the roof as the seller states in one part of the ad that the roof has been sanded down and needs paint, while in another part says that the roof was taken to bare metal and painted at the same time as the bumpers. All in all, this looks like a great daily driver with some great performance mods that's in very fair condition compared to most E34's that we see for sale these days. Find it here, in Redmond, WA, for $8,000 OBO.

Craigslist Find: '97 LS1 240sx

Dropping the LS1 into just about any Japanese performance cars changes it from a sporty car into a borderline supercar.  This Zenki faced 240sx not only has a nicely built LS1, but the chassis has had a thorough going over as well. The seller has been so kind as to provide a link to his build thread on northwestnissan.com. If you're not a member of the site, you will only be able to view 2 pages before they block you. This car looks to be a great performance deal that would be just a at home on the track as it would be getting groceries. Find it here, in Olympia/Shelton, WA, for $14,999 OBO.

eBay Find: Saab 900 Limo

Do you run a chauffeur service that caters primarily to professors, architects, and designers? Here's you chance to corner the market with this one of  kind Saab 900 limousine! You'll be the go to service for the next Nobel Peace Prize award ceremony. This odd limo looks to have been well maintained and in great condition. Try not to be in a hurry though, the car is still powered by the old 16v turbo four, but it does have a manual transmission. While slightly ridiculous  this is still a very cool limo that is sure to turn some heads. Hell, we'd book this guy long before the six axle Hummer with a hot tub! Find it here, in Colorado Springs, CO, with current bid at $1,980 no-reserve.

eBay Find: '34 Jim Lytle Ford Model A Drag Car

We just want to take a minute to reflect on the insanity that was early drag racing. Look at the seating position in this Ford. You have a 1710 cubic inch motor basically sitting in you lap.If something goes wrong, it's going to hurt. A lot. We doubt there is a bigger thrill than trying to push a car like this to the absolute quickest speed possible on a 1/4 mile track. This car does have major drag racing heritage as it was owned and built by Jim Lytle, the man who pioneered one piece fiberglass bodies in the sport. Jim passed away earlier this year and was not able to complete the project. We'd love to see Jim's dream finished and for this car to make it down the 1/4 mile at full speed. Find it here, in CA, with current bid at $29,500, no reserve with 6 days remaining.

Craigslist Find: '04 S2000

The S2000 is widely regarded as one of the best modern day driving cars. It seems you can't go to a track day or autocross event that isn't swarmed by these cars and their enthusiast owners. They're relatively affordable and incredibly fun to throw into some corners. This particular car looks great with it's Lambo white respray, flared fenders, shaved indicators, and special order red on black interior. The car sits nicely on a set of Buddyclub coil-overs and Enkei wheels that are sure to help pull some extra G in the corners. Even with this car salvaged we think the price is reasonable at $15,000 OBO, but we would still try to negotiate it down a bit more. Find it here, in Vista, CA!

eBay Find: '88 M3, Euro S52B32 Swap

This is E30 M3 has been fortunate enough to receive a motor from a euro-spec E36 M3. That includes the highly desirable 6 speed trans. We're pretty sure that this is the same Euro swapped E30 M3 that we featured earlier this year, but with a vinyl wrap and a wheel swap. We'd like to see some pics of the engine bay and the paint condition before the vinyl wrap.  We'd also like to know if the cracked bell-housing that the last seller mentioned was fixed. We still think this car is a fair deal considering that it is a clean title and and the front fenders have been replaced, but we would like to know if the replacements are metal or fiberglass. We'd love to get this car over on the west coast, but the prospect of trying to get the euro spec motor to pass smog is a mountain we're not sure we want to climb. Even for all of the questions we have, this is still a fair deal for the buy-it-now price of $14,000. This car is going to go fast so find it here, in Newport News, VA, with current bidding at $3,250 reserve-not-met and 2 days 5hrs remaining.

Craigslist Find: '83 Ur-Quattro

The Ur-Quattro is the product of Audi's wildly successful time in the world of B-Spec Rally. Audi dominated every terrain with their AWD system and put every bit of experience from Rally racing into the Quattro. You wouldn't guess that this was a great car from the production numbers, only 661 were sold in North America, but they are now legendary and can fetch some serious cash. This particular car is from the first year of production and has had a very thorough restoration with some key mods to keep the driving experience on par with modern standards. The seller seems to know exactly what they're talking about with these cars and even offers a gallery outlining the complete restoration. The turbo 5 cylinder originally produced 160hp in US trim, but this car has some mods that should bump up the power to be at least on par with the euro spec motors. We love the awkward looks of these cars and think that they will be worth their weight in the near future. Find it here, in Glen Ellyn, IL, for $19,000 OBO.

Craigslist Find: '68 BMW 2002, F20C Swap

Be the star of controversy at the next Bimmer meet with this S2000 powered 2002. This unconventional swap is probably one of the best matches of power and chassis, but purist will absolutely hate the fact that there is a Honda motor in your BMW. The seller states that everything works and that the car "runs and drive like a dream." We'd like to see some interior shots, being as the seller also states that the car is running full S2000 wiring harness. We'd like to know if that includes the gauge cluster and if not, are all of the gauges functioning? The car looks great and is sure to be a load of fun on the street or track. Find it here in Tacoma, WA, for $8,000. In our world, there is nothing sacred about a brand. If there is a better drive-train out there, or a body more suitable for that power-plant, then we say do the swap!

Craigslist Find: '85 535i, 300hp 3.9 Stroker

If the M5 is out of your price range, we've got this 535i that has all of the power and style of the M5, at half the price. The motor has been upgraded to a Metric Mechanic 3.9 stroker and is putting out around 300HP. This car also benefits from euro bumpers and a Hartge fascia. The body color is quite beautiful and the BBS mesh wheels compliment it nicely. Upgrades to the suspension as well as the diff put this car on par with the M5 in almost every way. The bad news is that the car has 586,000 miles on it, no word on how many miles are on the 3.9 or suspension mods, and the interior doesn't look to be as clean as we would've hoped. When compared to the M5, $8,000 is quite the steal, but there is some work that needs to be done to get this car to be 100%. Find it here, in Yorba Linda, CA. We still love the color combo and think that both cars are reasonably priced!

Forum Find: UPDATE: '73 Corona Wagon

eBay Find: '88 M5

The E28 M5 was the car that put BMW's M division on the map. This particular car looks to be in great condition with recent paint work, a nice list of suspension mods, and a history of diligent care-takers. This car has been stored indoors it's entire life and it shows. A crack free dash and immaculate sports seats are hard to come by in any old Bimmer. As usual, we love the Euro bumper conversion as well as the Hartge fascia and Zender skirts. The down side is that the new paint is due to a mild rear impact 4 years ago and the seats were reupholstered with "German brand leather", not original. Regardless of how the car came to sit in it's current condition, the car still looks great and is fairly priced with a $16,000 Buy-It-Now option. Find it here, in Fairfax, VA, with the current bid at $10,500, reserve not met.

Craigslist Find: F20C Swapped AE86

240HP and an 8,000rpm red-line make for some great stats when it comes to building a lightweight race car. This AE86 has benefited greatly from the death of a Honda S2000 and the F20c now sits between it's front struts. Aside from the great motor choice, this car also has a KAAZ 2-way limited slip, AEM standalone, cusco roll-cage, and a long list of other quality parts. Craigslist Find: '78 Fiesta Rally Tribute

Don't lie. You've always wanted a to storm through some mountainous dirt road in a Rally car with your copilot reading course notes from a paper that's death clinched in his hands. Well, maybe that's just us, but that's the exact image we got when saw this '78 Fiesta on Craigslist. This car looks like a metric ton of fun in a spunky little hatchback package. Everything is just right about the way this car looks and it's street/smog legal. Find all of the details here. The car is located in Sherman Oaks, CA, for $9,000. Craigslist Find: Mazda Rx-7, LS1 Project

This is a serious project and not for the modest garage, wiring-phobic, or the anemic budget. At $3,500, this is a great deal for what could be an amazing car. Craigslist Find: '73 Datsun 1200 Deluxe

Here's a very clean example of the 510's little sister, the 1200. These cars were smaller, lighter, and came with more economical motors, but they still retained the RWD fun of the 510. This particular car is in great shape and has a nicely appointed interior. At $3,200, this car makes for a nice alternative to a 510. Find it here, in Chicago, IL!

eBay Find: '67 Camaro Pro-touring to Track Rat

We love finding a car that was built intelligently and with a purpose. This '67 Camaro was built with the track in mind as well as occasional street use. The seller states that the only thing keeping this car from regular road use is that the fuel cell may not be up to DOT standards and the fuel gauge isn't working properly. We normally are disappointed when we find modern interior in classic cars, but when everything from that modern interior is functioning we don't mind as much. All of the gauges work (except for the aforementioned fuel gauge), the cruise control works, and steering wheel controls for the radio work. There is no A/C, there is an issue with the brakes when used on the track, and some warning lights from omitted sensors are lighting up the dash. We like that the body is in it's well beaten state, it's a blank canvas that lets the next owner decide where to take the project. Truthfully, we'd stick an A/C system in it and daily drive it as is. There is a lot of information in the eBay listing as well as a few link to build pictures, so go check it out here. The car is located in Springfield, OH, and is at $20,000 with no reserve and only 1 day left. This is the link to the seller's ad on Pro-Touring.com if the car doesn't sell and you want to make an offer.

Craigslist Find: '81 Starlet

The Starlet is an interesting formula for an economy car that we would love to see offered in today's market. RWD+hatchback+manual trans= Fun times in our book. This car has a custom paint scheme that is an acquired taste, but we quite like it. Seller states that the transmission is new as well as the alternator, clutch, brakes, and fuel pump. The car is located in San Carlos, CA and recently passed a smog inspection. Seller also states that the car needs locks, could use a better steering wheel, and judging from the pics, a complete reupholstering. We really like this car as is, but we would get rid of the park bench bumpers in favor of something like what JDM Legends has done to their Starlet. Find it here, for $3,000.

Craigslist Find: '88 325IS, S52 Swap

This 325IS looks to be a killer track car setup with potential to be a great street car. The swap looks unbelievably clean and the S52 was completely rebuilt before being installed. Suspension has been tottaly gone through and the hubs have been upgraded to 5-lug. The paint isn't so great and the interior apparently very gutted. The seller mentions not being able to smog the car and there are no pics with a California plate, we're assuming that there will be issues to overcome if you want to daily drive this in California. The seller has posted some very quick times at multiple tracks and has videos of his runs listed in the ad. $7,000 is quite a lot for what is currently a stripped out track car here in CA, but this is a case where you get what you pay for. Find it here, in south San Francisco, CA.

Craigslist Find: '72 240Z

This is a great deal on an original 240Z. The paint is two years old, the body is straight/rust free, the interior is in great condition with a rare passenger foot rest, and the drivetrain is numbers matching. This car is an absolute steal for $4,500. The only draw back is that it's an automatic. At this price, you could still modify and put the stock motor and trans in storage until you're ready to sell the car. Find this fantastic deal here, in Eugene, OR.

Craigslist Find: '68 Coronet Project

This '68 Coronet is a solid start for a Mopar project, whether it's a restoration, Super Bee Clone, or a pro-touring custom. The car has just been painted a nice shade of silver and is currently running, but not driving. The seller states that some tuning will be necessary to get the car drivable. Power comes from a 383 and is put down through a 727 and sure-grip diff. There is no mention if this is original equipment or not. While the seats look great, the dash pad need to be replaced and the rest of the interior's condition is a mystery. At $7,500, this is quite the steal for a classic B-Body Mopar. Find it here, in Modesto, CA.

eBay Find: '76 280Z Turbo

This 280Z looks great with real Watanabes, ZG flares, and a nice set of fender mirrors. The thin 240z bumpers help it out immensely and the L28ET should be making a good amount of power. There doesn't look like much needs to be done to this car, but the engine bay has mismatched paint, the AC is not functioning currently, and as usual with motor/trans swapped cars, the tach and speedo are non-op. The car comes with two extra motors, one of which is built to handle all the boost you could ever want. Find this solid built Datsun here, in Travelers Rest, SC, with current bid at $6,600, reserve not met.

Craigslist Find: '90 300zx Twin Turbo

The 300ZX is a very under-appreciated car these days. They're a performance bargain(faster than their successor, the 350z, in a straight line) and are, in our opinion, quite handsome. This particular car has had a recent engine rebuild with new, bigger turbos, and several other good mods. It's also quite the steal at $6,000, but the battery is dead, it needs a power-steering line, and the driver's seat needs to be reupholstered. We suggest going to check out the car with a extra battery from Costco. That way, if you don't get the car you can return the battery, no questions asked. The seller states that they will fix the problems, but the price goes up to $7,300. Find this daily driver performance bargain here, in Wildomar, CA.

Craigslist Find: '70 Dodge Challenger Project, Never This Cheap

This project is not for the weak willed, impatient, faint of heart, or tight of wallet. You will not find a Challenger project as straight and complete as this at this price. The tail lights look to be in good condition as well as the bumpers and surrounding trim. The body has considerable rust, but all panels are aligned and the car looks to have never been in an accident. The rust down the passenger side is in odd places and will require further investigation. We'd like to see some under-body shots as well as in the engine bay, but this is still a great deal for someone looking to build their dream challenger from the ground up. The original motor was a 318 with a 4 speed, so if you decide to do a crazy build, you won't be cutting up a rare original car. Find this monster of a project here, in Santa Clarita, CA, for $3,500.

Craigslist Find: Perfect '87 E30 'Vert

It's not often that you find an E30 Convertible that has been as well cared for/restored/maintained as this. The paint looks great and the interior looks amazing. The dash in good condition for being a convertible, but it does have a single crack. Diving board bumpers aren't normally our favorite but they look great on this car since the plastic bumper trim is painted to match the body color. We also like the E21 320IS lip spoiler, era appropriate Gotti wheels, and the limited slip diff. Find this E30 that's a step above the rest here, in San Diego, CA, for $11,900 OBO.

Craigslist Find: '02 Lexus IS300 Sportcross, Rare 5 Speed Manual

The IS300 is an undeniably attractive car and makes for one of the best looking wagons to come out in the last 20 years. Not only is this a rare manual transmission Sportcross, but it's a even more rare L-Tuned special.  L-Tuned is basically the F-Sport of the Fast and Furious era. This car benefits from the stage II package which includes suspension upgrade, some minor power adders, a fancy body kit, and some snazzy wheels. This car looks to have been well cared for and is up to date on all maintenance according to the seller. This is a really nice alternative to a BMW touring and would make for an excellent daily driver. The fuel economy is acceptable on these cars but not great. You'll be very lucky to see 30mpg on long road trips. Find this perfect and rare daily driver here, in Roseville, CA, for $14,000. The price is definitely at a premium, but you won't find another one of these for a very long time!

Event: JCCS 2012, Part 5

As usual, Toyota brought out some of their most iconic eye candy. Surprisingly, they weren't the only ones who brought a 2000GT.
