Well, maybe that's just us, but that's the exact image we got when saw this '78 Fiesta on Craigslist. This car looks like a metric ton of fun in a spunky little hatchback package. Everything is just right about the way this car looks and it's street/smog legal. Find all of the details here. The car is located in Sherman Oaks, CA, for $9,000. Craigslist Find: '69 Camaro, Drag Car

Wheelies are awesome. Terrifyingly awesome. You need a metric ton of power, light weight, and tires that are stickier than a Lohan's past. This '68 Camaro is built to go incredibly fast in a straight line and makes no apologies for it. At $17,500, it's one of the cheapest cars that we've seen that can do wheelies to a sub 6 second 1/8th mile. Find it here, in Montgomery, TX.

Craigslist Find: '05 Mustang Race Car, Supercharged V6

The V6 Mustang has always had a hard time getting recognition from enthusiasts as a performance car. This '05 V6 looks to change that with the addition of a supercharger and some serious racing gear. The biggest advantage of a V6 is that it's lighter, which makes the front of the car feel more nimble. The supercharger does add some weight to the front end, but it does help close the gap in HP between the GT and the standard car. This car also benefits from a roll cage, full suspension, and what looks like a hydraulic hand brake for you drifting fans. It's also worth mentioning that despite all of the racing goodies, the car is street legal as well. Find it here, in Anaheim Hills, CA, for $10,000.

Craigslist Find: VW Bus, Salt Flat Racer

Many strange things go down the Salt Flats to outrageously high speeds and this VW Bus is no exception. It's originally a '66 Bus but it's been converted to look like a '54 barn door and is registered as a '54. The van comes with a 1500 long block that needs assembly and is set up to run a turbo. We love the look and think that this could be an awesome show car as well as good fun down at the Salt Flats. Find it here, in Sams Town, LV, for $15,000.

eBay Find: Dream '74 Porsche RSR Replica, 993 Motor

We appreciate what Singer has done with the 911, but for us, this is the perfect 911. A classic body and chassis being powered by a newer motors and suspension. We're sure that the singer is quicker, rides better, and is just plain better at everything compared to this car but it doesn't look... right. Aside from the CCW wheels we think this car is perfect on the outside and the Recaro seats match well to the vintage interior. This car has many upgrades and we would love for this little RSR replica to call our garage home. Find it here, in Pheonix, AZ, for $49,000 OBO.

Craigslist Find: '70 Dodge Challenger Returned to the Streets

Like a race horse being put out to pasture, this '70 Challenger that was formerly a track car has been converted back to use for the streets. That doesn't mean it's lost it's pedigree or performance though. It still retains a 440 big block that's been bored .30 over and an 8 point roll cage that's sure to keep the body nice and rigid. The seller states that a full rotisserie restoration was done and that the motor was recently rebuilt. Find it here, in Placerville, CA, for $22,000.

Event: Art Center Car Classic 2011, Part 1

Nestled in the hills of Pasadena sits a rather ominous black building known as Art Center College of Design. This school is responsible for producing the majority of the world's automotive designers. So it makes sense that they would host an amazing car show every year.

Craigslist Find: '95 Nissan 240SX Race Car Platform

Having received several suspension, brake, and chassis mods has turned this 240sx from the performance economy car your Mom drove in the 90's into a serious contender on the track. This Zenki coupe looks very aggressive with the current paint and body scheme. This car is being sold as a shell with no motor, trans, or wheels, but is currently wired to take a RB25DET. We'd like to know if an interior comes with that shell, especially with the asking price being $6,000. It looks like the seller has multiple sets of wheels for the car so we suggest trying to get them to throw a set in for that price. Find the full parts list here in Pasadena, CA.

Craigslist Find: NASA Racing 2002 Camaro, Event Winner, Record Holder

We have a difficult time recommending race cars. The only time you get to interact with them is when you're racing or fixing them. This makes for a stressful, high maintenance relationship. So when we do recommend one it's because we feel that the car will be loyal to you, not the other way around. The 4th gen Camaro is a tried-and-true chassis that is getting more and more affordable to fix and the LS1 is about as reliable as a wood burning stove. This specific car has already been piloted to multiple podium finishes and holds a track record. Find your weekend time warp here in Centennial, CO for $14,000. Please remember that a racing like painting, just because you can pick up a paint brush doesn't mean you're going to create the Mona Lisa on your first try.

Craigslist Find: '99 Nissan Silvia S15 Drift or Time Attack

Extensively modified and highly unlikely to be a street car ever again, this S15 is not for everyone. However, if you're looking for a solid race car that's making over 600hp and you've got a $30,000 budget this is an option you should consider. Find all the info and a mod sheet a mile long here in Poway, CA.

Craigslist Find: '80 Porsche 911SC Built for Spec Racing

Coming from Santa Clara, CA is a 911 shell set up for spec racing. The car looks well sorted with a 6 point roll cage and has been completely stripped inside. The original motor is available with the car but it has blown a piston ring. You can always replace the motor or you could do something more interesting like swapping in a Subaru motor. Porsche motors are pricey to replace or repair, even if they're this old. Find this Porsche project here, for $9,000.

Craigslist Find: Road Race '68 Camaro

Here's a great deal on a race only '68 Camaro. The car looks well sorted with the exception of the VIN. The driver door has been riveted shut and the stock dash has been removed. All in all this looks like a great deal at $9,000. The car needs only a few things before it's race legal, we just wish that it came with a pink slip and a VIN! Find it here in Los Angeles, CA.
