Craigslist Find: Bagged '73 Mercedes 280

Bagged classic German cars are some of the coolest stanced cars on the road today. Air bags are a great alternative to a static drop if you're looking to daily drive your car and have it survive the speed bumps in you office parking lot. This particular car looks to have had the air ride installed properly but may need a new exhaust system. The paint is described as having a nice patina so if that's not your thing we recommend budgeting for a paint job. Find this stylish daily driver here, in Tacoma, WA, for $4,500.

Craigslist Find: '86 Mercedes 190E Cosworth

Now that the E30 M3 has reached a level of popularity that places it firmly outside of the average enthusiast budget, it's time to consider another German alternative. The 190E was the direct competitor for the M3 and offered a very similar package (RWD, 180hp 2.3 4 cylinder, optional manual transmission). The E30 M3 was never offered as a four door so the Merc is a little bit more functional. These cars are very competent and don't go for anywhere near what the M3's do (yet). We expect that the Cosworth cars will go up in value over the next few years. This car looks to be well maintained and has all the right upgrades and options. Find it here, in Flowery Beach, GA, for $5,500.

Craigslist Find: Ultimate Beach Car, LT1 Swapped 300TD Benz

If you're fortunate enough to live in Hawaii then we're sure you're aware of the grueling tole you take on your car every time you go to the beach. Salt air, sandy people, bumps and dings from your fellow beach goers, and the inevitable break in. The great thing about this Merc is that you have all the space you could need for surf boards and people, the body is rough and already rusty, and the motor has been swapped out for a LT1 and 4L60E from a '97 Camaro SS just in case you need to make a quick get-away. This car has had it's plates turned and is in storage status with the DMV. The seller says they have extra fenders and bumpers to go along with the car and is asking a very reasonable $2,500. Find it here, on Oahu, HI! Special thanks to Travis for the submission!

Forum Find: '74 Mercedes 240D, Daily Driver, Mild Drop

Change your daily driver to a classic, regal, and economical ride with this 1974 Mercedes 240D. We've always been fans of the diesel powered Mercedes and this one looks great with it's green paint and color matched hubs. The owner seems to have thorough knowledge of these cars and has full documentation and receipts on recent rebuilds and parts purchased. The seller has a pretty entertaining ad and is asking $4,000. The car is located just north of Atlanta, GA and the seller claims to have a hookup on cross country shipping as well. Find your classy new daily here!

Very few manufacturers can get away with paint so thin that you can see the weave of the carbon fiber underneath. Yup, we're at a Ferrari show!

Craigslist Find: Executive Luxury, 2002 Mercedes S600

We're all about getting the most car for the least amount of money. Here's a 2002 Mercedes S600 for $12,500. That's less than 10% of the original MSRP this car cost when new. She's bone stock and has low miles for the year. These cars do have expensive issues with the suspension, but with proper maintenance and learning from others mistakes you can have unbelievable comfort for less than the cost of a new anything. Find it here in Los Gatos, CA.

Craigslist Find: '99 C43 AMG

Coming from the Portland craigslist is a fairly rare C43 AMG that has some nice upgrades. These cars seem to be gaining popularity and at $9,950, this one is just a little more than the average that we've seen them offered for. The C43 is the first car to come out of the AMG plant in Affalterbach and is propelled by 302hp and 302tq. Not bad for a 13 year old German sedan. We really like the stance and modern AMG touches, but we'd like to hear the complete list of upgrades from the seller. Find the car here in Vancouver.

Craigslist Find: Diesel. Drift. Wagon.

Very rarely do three words get us as excited about a used car as Diesel, Drift, and Wagon. We'd love to pull all of the stickers, relocate the exhaust (yes, that is the exhaust sticking out of the rear window) and roll this as a daily driver. This is a car that could get you into some big trouble so the old comic book adage "With great power, comes great responsibility." rings true for the next owner. We smile at the thought of hosting our own operation-smoke-screen on some nasty tailgaters, but it's that kind of childish thoughts that get you into trouble. The seller has three different power settings that the car is capable of running and the fuel economy you can expect. The max being 300hp and 400tq and stock being 160hp and 260tq returning around 30mpg.  Find this car here, in Powdersprings, GA, for $3,500. We can't think of a better way to take four friends and your dog around a track.
