Now that the E30 M3 has reached a level of popularity that places it firmly outside of the average enthusiast budget, it's time to consider another German alternative. The 190E was the direct competitor for the M3 and offered a very similar package (RWD, 180hp 2.3 4 cylinder, optional manual transmission). The E30 M3 was never offered as a four door so the Merc is a little bit more functional. These cars are very competent and don't go for anywhere near what the M3's do (yet). We expect that the Cosworth cars will go up in value over the next few years. This car looks to be well maintained and has all the right upgrades and options. If you're fortunate enough to live in Hawaii then we're sure you're aware of the grueling tole you take on your car every time you go to the beach. Sometimes, it's difficult to put into words why you like a car. This is not one of those times.
Coming from the Portland craigslist is a fairly rare C43 AMG that has some nice upgrades. These cars seem to be gaining popularity and at $9,950, this one is just a little more than the average that we've seen them offered for. The C43 is the first car to come out of the AMG plant in Affalterbach and is propelled by 302hp and 302tq. Not bad for a 13 year old German sedan. We really like the stance and modern AMG touches, but we'd like to hear the complete list of upgrades from the seller. Find the car here in Vancouver.

We love Socal car shows. Even small town events can have some amazingly rare machines.
Very rarely do three words get us as excited about a used car as Diesel, Drift, and Wagon. We'd love to pull all of the stickers, relocate the exhaust (yes, that is the exhaust sticking out of the rear window) and roll this as a daily driver. This is a car that could get you into some big trouble so the old comic book adage "With great power, comes great responsibility." rings true for the next owner. We smile at the thought of hosting our own operation-smoke-screen on some nasty tailgaters, but it's that kind of childish thoughts that get you into trouble. The seller has three different power settings that the car is capable of running and the fuel economy you can expect.
