The SR20DET seems to be the turbo four cylinder of choice when swapping motors into classic Datsuns, but the KA24DET has some perks as well. For starters, it usually has more low-end torque and parts are more readily available at your local scrap yard. So it does make sense to find one so well put together in a Z car, like this one. The seller looks to have built the motor properly as well as the suspension. There is no mention of a brake upgrade which we feel is necessary for an old car with this much power. Find it here in Santa Ana, CA, for $11,000 with wheels or $10,000 without, OBO.

It seems like yesterday when we went to our first Datsun Show and Swap Meet in Eagle Rock. It was a small venue that consisted of about 20-25 cars, primarily 510s and a couple of vintage Mazdas.

Event: Eagle Rock Datsun Show and Swap Meet, Part 2

A big draw to the show was the swap meet portion, which to average passerby may have looked like field of scrap metal, but to those with a keen eye it was a dream land full of parts to add to their projects.
