Craigslist Find: '83 Ur-Quattro

The Ur-Quattro is the product of Audi's wildly successful time in the world of B-Spec Rally. Audi dominated every terrain with their AWD system and put every bit of experience from Rally racing into the Quattro. You wouldn't guess that this was a great car from the production numbers, only 661 were sold in North America, but they are now legendary and can fetch some serious cash. This particular car is from the first year of production and has had a very thorough restoration with some key mods to keep the driving experience on par with modern standards. The seller seems to know exactly what they're talking about with these cars and even offers a gallery outlining the complete restoration. The turbo 5 cylinder originally produced 160hp in US trim, but this car has some mods that should bump up the power to be at least on par with the euro spec motors.
