Event: South Pasadena Classic Car Show, Part 2

The biggest surprise at this show was certainly the trio of original Shelby Cobra roadsters.

Each one has an amazing back story.

Whether it was racing heritage...

Or surviving previous owners...

Each car was an unbelievable gem.

We kind of felt bad for the replica across the street!

It certainly is interesting how the poorly painted blue has chipped away to reveal the original gold paint. Kind of poetic in a way.

Just the thought of roaring around a track in one of these monsters is enough to set the pulse racing.

If not just having racing heritage is enough, the blue car won first at the 1966 12 Hours of Sebring.
