Event: 2012 Mopars at the Strip, Part 1

Every year we try to make the trek out to Las Vegas for what is quite simply the highest concentration of outstanding Mopars in the US.

'70 Challenger, Hemi, convertible, 4 speed. You'll be hard pressed to find one of these at any other show.
This '71 'Cuda was absolutely polarizing.
Not a corner was cut in this car's rebirth.
We always appreciate a 6.1 Hemi in an old E body, but this one cleaned it up even further with the addition of the TechCo supercharger and brushed stainless coil caps.
We were lucky enough to enjoy a few seconds between the crowds to get some great shots.
We look forward to the day when our imaginations are able to run wild for a build like this.
The '68 charger is another bucket-list car for us.
This one was stanced for prostreet and had a wild sounding motor to boot.

This '70 'Cuda has spent it's entire life as a drag car.
Having lived it's life a quarter mile at time has resulted in accruing only 9,000 miles since it left the factory.
It's hard not to be charmed by the character of any old Mopar.
Whether it's the body graphics...

Cartoon characters...
Or the vibrant colors from the factory.
This white AAR 'Cuda was a stunning contrast against the Mopar rainbow.
We can't get enough of the cars from this era.

Original blue California plates. You'd think that these cars were trailered to the show...
But this group from Montana drove their pair of '70 Challengers down to the show.
With very thirsty big blocks pulling the full 1000 miles down to Pheonix, AZ and then back up to Las Vegas.

This Challenger's job was far from done as it was leaving from Vegas to it's new home in southeast Texas.
2000 miles in a week is a strain on any car.
Not to mention the strain on the driver.
That being said, we would drop everything for the opportunity to drive an old Dodge cross country! Look forward to part 2 where we bring you more rare, odd, and beautiful cars!
