Both cars look really good as they sit and we'd have a hard time deciding whether or not to swap the m90 into the E9. The European version of the 635CSI is a thing of beauty. Those sexy little chrome bumpers are leaps and bounds nicer than the chrome diving boards the US model received. This week seems to be good for Challenger projects. This one in particular has most of it's body work done with the exception of some rust in the trunk area, according to the seller. The highlight for this car is that it comes with a fuel injected 440 big block. We'd certainly like to know what kind of fuel injection system is being used as well as what parts are need to complete this solid looking project. Coming from Santa Clara, CA is a 911 shell set up for spec racing. The car looks well sorted with a 6 point roll cage and has been completely stripped inside. The original motor is available with the car but it has blown a piston ring. You can always replace the motor or you could do something more interesting like swapping in a Subaru motor. Porsche motors are pricey to replace or repair, even if they're this old. Find this Porsche project here, for $9,000.

Craigslist Find: Lamborghini Kit Car Project

The concept of a kit car is great. You turn a regular boring car into a an expensive exotic sports car. But more often than not, the end result looks like a poorly fitted fiberglass body on a tortured Fiero frame. Here's a chance to change that. We were racking our brains trying to come up with a plan that would turn this project from just another Lambo kit car to something appealing and unique. What if instead of finishing this car as a faithful Diablo replica you turned it into a R.W.B. Lamborghini. Drop it as low as it goes, find the widest set of BBS wheels possible, paint it an outrageous shade of orange, bolt on some HUGE flares and serious bits of aero to turn this into a wild custom car. Make the real Lambo owners stop and consider for a moment. This car is already sporting the Diablo GTR body, a decent interior, and a rollcage. If we were going to turn this into a R.W.B. It seems like yesterday when we went to our first Datsun Show and Swap Meet in Eagle Rock. It was a small venue that consisted of about 20-25 cars, primarily 510s and a couple of vintage Mazdas.

We'll be honest, we secretly have a hard time choosing between Alfa Romeo and Lancia. The Fulvia Zagato is one of the reasons for that. Everything from the lovely body shape to the quirky hood opening that can only promise a bad back anytime the battery needs changing. These cars are exceedingly rare in the US and this one appears to have enjoyed a very complete restoration. Here's another great road race capable muscle car from the Los Angeles area. This '70 Challenger has been setup with the complete Hotchkis Suspension which makes just about any old muscle car handle like their modern counterparts. This car also features an updated Vintage Air A/C system which will make driving in the hot summer sun a little more bearable. The car also sports the original paint which looks to be in good condition with some great looking battle scars. Inside, the interior looks great and is also running an expensive rally dash. Here's a great deal on a race only '68 Camaro. The car looks well sorted with the exception of the VIN. The driver door has been riveted shut and the stock dash has been removed. We've always loved purpose built classic Mustangs, whether they were coupes or fastbacks. The '69 Mustang is probably the most attractive year for the Mustang coupe and this one is a great base for your road race or autocross dreams. Tubbed with a tubular frame and integrated rollcage, this project could go any way the next builder wants. Craigslist Find: Turbo V-tec Mini

Looking to be a pest to the neighborhood Lamborghinis? Weighing in at just 1300lbs and being powered by a turbo B20, this Innocenti Mini has promise to be one of the quickest cars on the block. These cars a handful with just a V-tec swap. Adding a turbo into the formula should make this car absolutely volatile. The seller states that it will only take a day or two to complete being there are some items not hooked up yet. The front end has been painted as well as the flares. Find this little land rocket here in Longview, WA for $14,000. We think this setup will be more reliable and much more powerful than the R1 swapped Mini from a few days ago, plus we're also partial to British Racing Green Minis!

We set off for the final day of Mopars at the Strip with our heads pounding, stomachs emptied, and our jackets smelling of overly sweet perfumes from the night before. This Mod Top Roadrunner is great representation of our memories from the previous night.

Craigslist Find: Restored '70 240Z

While we may lust for the S30 that's had it's original heart replaced with modern technology and it's body cut up for fender flares, we still have an appreciation for the original package. This Colorado Z has been stored for 22 years according to the seller. The time stamps indicate that the photos are just under two years old so it might be a good idea to ask for more recent pics. The seller also states that although the motor has been rebuilt, it was 22 years ago and has never been fired. This is a very curious find that could end up being a great deal. Craigslist Find: Rare Manual Trans W8 Passat Wagon

The W8 motor is a double edged sword. On one hand you have great performance, on the other you have expensive repairs being as the Passat was the only platform this drivetrain was ever offered in. This W8 wagon has the very rare and desirable manual transmission and looks to be in good condition. This car is being offered by a dealership in Roy, UT so we recommend either checking the car out yourself or having a third party inspection done. We love the color and the thought of owning a motor that ended up being the base architecture of the Bugatti Veyron's power plant. $6,995 seems to be a reasonable price for such a rare vehicle, find it here.

Despite what the general population thinks of these cars, we here at Carticular have always been fans of the 3rd gen F-body. This car in particular, makes want to dawn a mullet, move to the South, and live the 3rd gen Camaro life. Everything is right and the list of modifications is a mile long. The car has just been completed (only having been around the block a time or two) so there will probably be teething issues. The car currently has a 4th gen dash which doesn't fit quite to our standards and the car currently has no headlights. Even with those few negatives, we would still drive love every minute of driving the car how it is. Find it here in southern Georgia for $16,500.

We've spent a lot of time praising South Pasadena for having high high quality and impossibly rare cars such as the 300SL Gullwing, and a trio of orignal Shelby Cobra Roadster, but the quality of custom cars is really what blew our minds.

Forum Find: '88 BMW M6

If you aren't quite sold on the horsepower ratings of a stock E30 M3 and still want a vintage M car, we suggest taking a look at this E24 M6.  With 256hp from the factory, the S38 motor made the M6 one of the quickest cars in the world when it was released. This car appears mostly stock, but the seller says there is some damage to the rear quarter panels and that the factory self leveling suspension has been replaced Eibach springs and Bilstien shocks. It's not unusual for the factory suspension to be replaced on these cars as it's one of most consistent points of failure on these cars. This car is available for a very reasonable $10,500 OBO here, on the bimmerforums. The seller states his location is in Kansas City, MO, but the car has Colorado plates, so we suggest getting in contact with the seller to find out more.

We like the R32 Golf. We like it's practical package, AWD, manual transmission, and the lovely sound it's V6 makes. This one has had some interesting modifications done, one of which allows the car to run on E85 which bumps the power up to 300. It also has programming to rev match on downshift like a new Nissan 370Z as well as a 2-step launch control system to ensure you have consistent 0-60 times. Forum Find: 700hp '70 Chevelle

Big power comes cheap with this turbo LY6 powered Chevelle, putting out a claimed 700hp. While the motor is built to handle the on coming Armageddon, the rest of the car still needs some love. The seller neglects to mention anything about brakes and suspension so we can't honestly say that we would enjoy driving a 700hp car with 200hp brakes from the 1970's. Seller also claims that the body is full of filler and that the quarters and roof should be replaced if you are looking for a show car. We think that with a good set of brakes and a decent suspension set up, this car would be an absolute blast to drive regardless of body condition. Find it here in Mckinney, TX for $15,500.

Second generation Camaros are coming up in value and here's a good opportunity to pick up one that had some really nice upgrades applied to it.  Baer brakes, Gulstrand suspension, worked over 5 speed manual, and a claimed 480hp 355ci Chevy makes for an impressive start to a very complete list. We'd love to see an original gauge cluster, as well as a more vintage inspired set of racing seats in this car but those are small details. Coming from Los Altos, CA is a very affordable track car to start your career as a weekend racer. The seller states that there is a clear rod knock so this is the perfect platform to do a motor swap or just replace the stock M20 for dirt cheap.  The seller has a very complete list as well as a rather charming description of the car listed here for $3,000. While replacing the motor is a bit of a pain, we feel that the price is fair for a car that could be a real thrill around the track.

Coming from the Portland craigslist is a fairly rare C43 AMG that has some nice upgrades. These cars seem to be gaining popularity and at $9,950, this one is just a little more than the average that we've seen them offered for. The C43 is the first car to come out of the AMG plant in Affalterbach and is propelled by 302hp and 302tq. Not bad for a 13 year old German sedan. Austin Mini's came with 55hp from the factory, but that didn't stop them from being an absolute blast to drive. This Mini has it's power problem fixed with a 2003 Yamaha R1 motorcycle engine powering it's front wheels. The seller has been kind enough to post several thorough videos on the auction. Very rarely do three words get us as excited about a used car as Diesel, Drift, and Wagon. We'd love to pull all of the stickers, relocate the exhaust (yes, that is the exhaust sticking out of the rear window) and roll this as a daily driver. This is a car that could get you into some big trouble so the old comic book adage "With great power, comes great responsibility." rings true for the next owner. Forum Find: Why Get a New ZL1 Camaro?

We're enjoying the current state automotive market, everything is reliable, comfortable, and very fast compared to what was available in the mid to late 90's. Sometimes a deal comes along that makes you reconsider what a car is all about. We like the everything about the new ZL1 on paper, but at the end of the day we feel that it's just a consumable product. It won't be an icon for future generations to look back on with a prideful grin, muttering something about how those were the days when cars were cars. They'll look to the late 60's just as we do. Our point is that for $20,000 less than the base MSRP of a new ZL1 Camaro you can have this 1969 Camaro that's powered by a Kenne Bell supercharged LQ4. That's right, $34,000 is all that's being asked for this car. The old '69 has had a complete suspension upgrade to coilovers, big Willwood brakes, a freshly rebuilt T56, and many other improvements to help this car keep up with the best America has to offer today. We're willing to bet that you would have the time of your life with this car. That being said, this is an old car and it will not be as reliable as new. But for the price you can buy a brand new fuel efficient daily driver and till be under the cost of a new ZL1.
