We are very fortunate to have a great show like this one happen multiple times a year in such close proximity to our offices.
There are always new cars but it's the regulars who end up being the most interesting. Every show is like jumping to the end of a build you've been following intermittently online.
The constant evolution can be as tedious as the addition of some badges or as surprising as a motor swap.
Some of these projects are tackled with the rat rod mentality in that every small detail adds to a greater theme.
Whether it's a little bit a graffiti or a connecting rod tow hook, the devil is in the details.
Datsuns are great for this build mentality.
Nine times out of ten they're still drivable while your doing whatever insane project you're subjecting them to.
All the while maintaining that fun demeanor you fell in love with the first time you drove one.
Some themes end up being more obvious than others.
As they say, "It's never too late to have a happy childhood!" We can't think of a better replacement for a Radio Flyer wagon than a bright red 'goon!
You can't tell us that you never hauled you're skateboard around in your wagon.
We do wish our wagon was powered by a motor as pretty as this though!
We can't think of a classic car that a nardi wood steering wheel doesn't look good.
Clean classic custom theme. Subtle on the outside.
Comfy on the inside.
Love the horizontal speedo.
Nice creme and chocolate interior color choices.
See what we mean about clean being the theme.
It's nice to see that a trunk on these cars getting cleaned up.
We always have and always will recommend a Datsun to any enthusiast who is looking to get into a classic car.
