Craigslist Find: '72 DeTomaso Pantera Project

Pantera's weren't known for reliability and safety from the factory, this you chance to improve on an amazing classic Italian car. These cars were so frustratingly unreliable that the King of Rock himself returned to his garage (after many failed attempts at starting) and a bullet through his Pantera in a hope to put it out of his misery. For all of their issues from the factory, these cars were among the fastest on the road. This particular Pantera has a nicely integrated roll cage and is waiting for someone to slap their desired motor and trans combo in the back of it. We'd love to see a new Coyote motor in the car but that's probably to wide to fit within the stock engine bay without serious fabrication.
