The Coupe is the redheaded step child of the vintage mustang lineup. No where near as desirable as the Fastbacks or Convertibles. Every now and then one comes along that turns our preconceived judgments upside down. This '69 Coupe is sitting just right with the perfect size wheels and paint scheme. The seller describes the paint as "The previous owner either had the car painted by a blind man or his kid didit. Either way i wont charge extra for the bonus paint in the runs." We're sure the car isn't perfect but it does photograph well which means it will look good at distance. The seller also states that the steering box isn't the best. Even though this car is running the old straight 6 we think this a decent deal at $6,000. We'd budget to either swap the motor for a Fox Body 5.0 or a 2011+ Mustang V6 with a manual trans. Either way, you'd have a fun car that looks great. Find it here in San Rafael, CA.
