Event: Cars and Coffee Part 1, June 2012

Cars and Coffee is an automotive gathering that started here in Southern California and has fervently spread across the US to other major metropolitan city. There's good reason for that level of excitement as this is one of the most eclectic shows around.

Quite simply, this is one of the largest gatherings of car lovers from every walk of life. Brand loyalty is seen, respected, and understood better here than at any other show we've attended.
Everyone is welcome, just don't act a fool. Burnouts and overzealous showmanship is highly frowned upon.

The best part is that it happens every Saturday morning. And we mean MORNING, the parking lot is virtually empty by 9:30.
Over the next few days we're going to bring you all of our favorite cars from the one day we went and will hopefully be able to update our attendance record once every month or two!
If you're unfamiliar with this Sport Utility, it's a crowd sourced design built by Local Motors called the Rally Fighter.
From what we understand, these are supposed to be powered by a turbo diesel Bimmer I6, but this one was a bit different...
We swear there's a LSX tucked away in there.

We appreciate the Evora but the Exige is more our style.
One thing you should note is that the majority of the the show goers are smiling and having an absolute blast.

While Eleanor themed Mustangs are a little played out these days, this car was done right in every way.

Like the equally florescent colored JELLO, there's always room for some Mopar muscle.

If there's a rare car that you've yet to check off of your Autobahn Field Guide, we suggest you make your way to the Cars and Coffee nearest you. We'll have more from the show in the coming days so check back in!
