Event: Art Center Car Classic 2011, Part 2

One of the things you just don't expect to see at a college campus show is a a 250 GTO.

Even if it is a stunningly accurate replica such as this one.
This is no Datsun framed, fiberglass kit car.
But a completely accurate reproduction of the original.
Every detail is spot on and the proportioning the telltale that this wasn't built on a Datsun chassis.
But for this car, the dead give away is the color. As far as we are aware, no 250 GTOs were  born blue metallic.
Alfa Romeo was the featured make at this show and one of the more beautiful roadsters was this exquisitely restored Guilietta.
The interior was a notch above what we're used to seeing with these cars.
We wouldn't mind staring at these gauges everyday, mildly fearful of overheating in daily traffic.
That being said, we're pretty sure that the wrinkle coat on top of the dash isn't at factory specification and some Alfisti, somewhere, is fervently banging on their keyboard in disgust.
The Guilia step nose is on our bucket list of cars to drive with purpose through a Malibu canyon.
It truly is the Italian 510, much more beautiful, but substantially more unreliable.
The Super Speciale is another Alfa that you could just stare at for days.

Here's another example of a modern car that's been rebodied to look like a classic.
This was once an angry C6 Corvette, but now it's a very wide '58 Roadster.
We like the Fiat Multipla.
We don't know of another car that's capable of giving it's self a door ding! In all honesty, we love the scene that the owner has set. It would be an amazing day to have a picnic in the hills of Tuscany next to your Fiat Multipla.
