Event: Japanese Classic Car Show 2011, Part 1, The Parking Lot

Last years JCCS was truly an amazing show. From the moment we left our cars we were overwhelmed by the best Japan has had to offer.

We love it when owners make it easy to shoot their cars!
Bluebirds always create a crowd no matter where they go.
It was nice to see some familiar cars from the Eagle Rock Swap Meet.
Flares and a roof rack make for a great utilitarian combo.
There were a couple a E30 M3s that were lurking around the parking lot. It's always nice to see enthusiast that aren't one brand purists.
A well placed 2002 and some existing local art made for a great shoot.
Now all we need is a scantily clad lady draped across the hood!
Classic Jags are welcome at any show in our opinion.
What the Jag is actually telling us is that if you want a good spot, show up early!
Sweet blue Z with another lurking M3.
OD Green and bronze wheels is always a good choice for classic Japanese steel.
A mouth full of Cibie lights.
Can't get enough of this car.
Projector beams are always a good choice.
The Supra is definitely a modern classic and the attention to detail on this one was a spot above some of the cars that were actually in the show.
Always a fan of ZG flares.
So hard to choose!
Another favorite of ours was nicely tucked away in the back of the lot.
We love the size of these old Celicas.
All around perfect.
Definitely our favorite modern Nissan at the show.
It doesn't hurt that we're extremely partial to Millennium Jade Metallic from the R34 spec Nur Skyline.
This one left us scratching our heads.
Mainly because we never thought we'd like a rusty car with neon metallic green wheels...
and we never though we'd see a cool Wagovan.
But low and behold this car completely made us a fan of the rust and Wagovans. The pin striping, the stance, and the colors made really made this a great car. We also loved the carpet in the car was astro turf. The best part was we were already having a blast and we hadn't even made our way into the show yet. Look forward to tomorrow's post from inside the show!
