Event: Bimmerfest 2012, Part 2

It was getting more and more difficult to pick a favorite at this years show.

There were almost too many clean E30 M3s, not a complaint we would normally register.
We're lovin' the dead eye.
We always enjoy 2002s of any shape or condition.
These cars just look like they'd be a ton of fun autocrossing.
Clean E28.
There were some amazing colors at the show.
Orange chrome has never looked so good.
The matte silver really set the wheels off.
Not to mention the perfect stance.
Colors weren't limited to just wheels.
Love the look.
The orange was perfect for this car.
We'll take Laguna Seca blue, please.
Perfect E39 M5?
Yup.
Regardless of everything else we saw at the show, this was our favorite custom.
Notice anything strange about this popup headlights? That's right, gone, and we can't get enough of how clean that one mod made this 8 series.
Not to mention the rear was flared.
The blue was staggeringly beautiful in the mid-day sun.
Even the wheels were just right, big but not garish.
The only thing that slightly soured this whole package was the auto. We beg, nay, implore you, please put a 6 speed in this magical beast!
 We've gotta admit...
the new 6 series is our favorite car that BMW currently produces.
This owner was smart and pulled the poorly placed factory badging.
From nose to tail it's hard to not like this car.
Clean E36 LTW.
This is how you make big power beautifully.
Not all of the cars at the show were wearing roundels.
Adore.
So much is right with the Gallardo these days. We'd take a Supperleggera or a Balboni over anything else in the Lambo line up.
We don't know what we would put these wheels on but they looked great.
We'll end up with a stanced touring Bimmer at some points in our lives.
There's just something so right about a big body this low.
The lips were placed just perfectly in line with the fender opening.
The one car that we wanted to shoot the most ended up being at the most popular booth on the grounds. Oh well, we'll get that Alpina E30 next year!
